Reiki
Reiki is an ancient healing system and a self-development technique rediscovered by Japanese scholar Dr Mikao Usui.
Reiki in Japanese means ‘Universal Energy’ –the Universal Life Force that permeates all living matter. The Healing power of Reiki can be activated in any person’s hands by a Reiki Master. Once activated, the gentle nurturing energy radiating from their hands can be used to treat both themselves and others.
It is a natural way to balance the body’s energy; therefore increasing it’s ability to heal on all levels- physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
A powerful tool for personal growth through increase in intuitive, cognitive and creative processes.
Reiki is neither a form of mind control, philosophy or religion and does not require any change in lifestyle or belief system.

REIKI TRAINING CONSIST OF FOUR SEPARATE LEVELS:
REIKI – FIRST DEGREE
Duration: minimum 8 hours.

REIKI - SECOND DEGREE
An interval of at least 21 days after attunement to the First Degree is recommended for the attunement to the Second Degree. The Second Degree increases the strength of the practitioner’s ability to channel the Universal energy. It involves learning about Reiki sacred symbols, their meanings and uses for hands-on healing and healing through a distance, developing intuition; providing protection to self and others, potentialising energy fields etc..
Duration: two consecutive days. (eg. Saturday 9am-4pm & Sunday 12noon-4pm) or Three consecutive nights (eg. Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6pm-9pm).

REIKI - THIRD DEGREE
Third Degree (3A) is mainly taught for personal growth. An interval of at least one year between the completion of Reiki Level II and undertaking of Reiki Three is recommended. After the Third Degree the student has a comprehensive understanding of Reiki, can give the first Reiki One attunement and a Reiki Healing attunement. This enables them to introduce people to Reiki and also provide healing attunements - a powerful addition to other modalities in a healing profession. The training takes place over a weekend.

MASTER TRAINING
Selection from Reiki (3A) by interview only.
The person selected would have to make a commitment to Self-Master their lives according to the principles and ethics of Reiki. They will be given a good understanding of Reiki Theory and practice, and would be taught the necessary skills to be able to teach Reiki to others. Part of the training is presence and assistance in all the levels of Reiki Workshops.
